Tell us a little about Peddlers Kitchen.
Peddler’s Kitchen was created on the foundation that customer service and satisfaction are our first and foremost priority. Great products go hand in hand with satisfaction.
All products are made to order in a home kitchen in North Carolina. Each recipe has been tried and served to our own families, many being passed down through several generations. If we feel its good enough for our family, we know its good enough for yours.
What made you start your own business?
Peddler's Kitchen evolved on the premise of affordable, homemade food for your family. Food companies have come and gone, due to poor management and lack of business communication. Peddler's Kitchen answered the call to provide a service and product that people are looking for. Fresh food with no preservatives at an affordable price. We also provide a generous commission program to assist other's seeking to make money from home
How did you come up with your business name?
For years, I have had the name Peddler's Home place for my gift giving needs. Peddler's Kitchen fit right in. We peddle food for the kitchen. :)
What do you enjoy most about having your own business?
Having satisfied customers and affiliates who enjoy the food and the company dynamics. This makes it all worthwhile.
How do you balance family and your business?
Many times we incorporate the two. My family helps me out, assisting in various ways. It's a great way to spend time together working toward a common goal; to have even more family time in the future.
If you could offer one piece of advice to those new in the business what would it be?
Plan what you want to do. Do what you love and enjoy. In the end, if you don't like it, you won't succeed.
If you knew then what you know today would you do anything different?
The only thing I would have done differently is opened the business sooner!
