November 2007 PerpetualMoms was launched.
I (Holly) founded Perpetualmoms.com for all moms everywhere whom all share a common goal and desire to be the best mom they can be. I wanted a site where moms could share all their tips, stories, recipes, and bond with other moms. It wasn’t long and we were quickly growing with articles and recipes. I loved reading all the wonderful stories and insights. Then I started to get moms wanting to advertise their business, and services. I started playing with the idea of a marketplace. That was quickly growing, that lead me to Celebration Motherhood – Motherhood & Baby Expo. After talking with moms all over the country, they all shared a common desire, wanting to find high quality, hip/trendy fashions, without having to drive to several locations. In our area there are no Tradeshows for moms. I started with a few calls and a month later I had 3 shows booked for 2009.Celebration Motherhood - a boutique style expo for hip moms & their trendy tots!
Celebration Motherhood is a boutique style expo, we want moms to attend and leave excited and ready for the next show. We don’t want moms to attend and feel like well part of it was really great. We didn’t accept exhibitors that were from the home party network becuase for the most part moms could attend a home party at anytime. A month into the Celebration Motherhood planning we had over 100 exhibitors that were from the Home Party Business. I started feeling guilty, I want to empower moms, encourage them and I wasn’t supporting them. WAHM – Work At Home Mom Expo was born! It is growing just as quick as Celebration Motherhood! Moms can come to WAHM and recruit, sell and network! It isn’t limited to just Home Party Business we have corporations from all over the country that are attending looking for moms to work from home.
I love meeting new moms and hearing their stories. With Celebration Motherhood I get to connect moms to high quality, upscale, environment friendly, and fashionable merchandise. I also get to provide them with the need to know info they are seeking. With WAHM I get to connect work at home moms with customers and recruits, and moms who are looking for work at home opportunities get to meet companies that provide that opportunity or resources to support it.
